Sami Malek, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology. His research focuses on genetic changes in hematological malignancies. His lab studies chronic lymphocytic leukemia, follicular lymphoma, and the progression of MDS to AML. All work is supported by translational research trials, and clinical outcome prediction is an important research goal.
